Kaylar was my teacher for as long as I can remember. He was sent by the Counsil King, Azzlore, to watch over me, and guide me on the path to my destinies. He taught me the arts of Sword and Sorcery, being the most powerful warrior-mage and the leader of the Army of the Third Reign of the Wizard-King Azzlore.

As he learned of my potential as a fighter, he began to worry. My destiny, as read by the Prophets on the day of my Naming, was: "Henceforth in a time many years from today, this girl-child will bring forth the son of a powerful wizard. This boy will be the most powerful of all.. and he shall bring forth the destruction of our world."

Kaylar.. was ordered to bring me in.

He refused. It was the first time in hundreds of years that anyone had refused the Wizard-King of the Counsil. Despite his efforts however, I was still taken by Azzlore's forces... my parents slaughtered to prevent another child of such cataclysmic destiny. Kaylar was punished severly for his transgression.

I remember this as if I had happened yesterday. The silent trial before the Courts, Azzlore's apprentice, an Unseelie by the name of Massar, rushing to me as my sentance was prounouced. Massar was escourted out.. uncerimoniously, by the guards. And Azzlore began his chant.

Thereafter... everything is blank.

Yes, it is true that Massar returned to torment me.. he sought me out in this realm and enchanted me.. but that.. is a story for another time.
